We are a big family with people from different places and cultures. With that in mind we decided to name our studio as Mapa (means map in Portuguese), honouring the hometown of its founders, Rio de Janeiro. With all our differences, we share a great love for music and the world of audio. Our passion is to live this to the fullest, putting each project in its own voice and fingerprint. MAPA SOUND is a full-service music composition and audio post production studio. We are located in Astoria, next to Astoria Park, with breathtaking views of the city that give us daily inspiration for our work. We pride ourselves on being experts in music and audio services for commercials, television series, feature films, radio, podcasts, branded content, and all forms of advertisement. We have worked with marketing agencies from around the globe. Our team consists of a diverse group of experienced artists passionate about making the most of every project and focusing on the unique needs of our clients. We work in all stages of audio development - from music creation to audio post production. Music has a unique effect on our how we think, feel, and create memories. The music we surround ourselves with becomes a part of who we are and can stir up deep and powerful emotions.
